We’ve hit the highest peak of Spring/Summer Indian outfit viewing coming from the designers of our country. But hey it’s not complete until we don’t witness the most awaited Instagram launch of Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s collection. To all the admirers of handloom and Indian heritage, Sabyasachi’s designs, for years now have reminded us of our country’s rich art and history. His undying passion and love for India and its heritage weaves has always raised the bar for more.
Sabyasachi’s Instagram launch is definitely one of the most anticipated waits of the Internet. What I love the most about his designs and campaigns are, how aesthetically pleasing it is to the eye. Fiza, his latest collection is easy, it’s breezy and there’s lightness of ones being; Fiza celebrates life in colors or even in subtlety; Fiza is a true reflection of Sabyasachi.
Bright springs and subtle summers, isn’t that an ode to the nature’s cycle? Yes it is. You can be dressed bright in sorbet shades or just be the calm in storm kind. There’s no in between here. The true essence of this particular shot is soaking in the summer sun and breezing in the lush green garden.
Striking in pink and acid shades who could’ve imagined chikankari could look so good in such bright shades for Men’s wear? Above are two men strikingly posing like the Nawabs in their chikankari kurta’s, a true origin from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Alluring isn’t it?
Another brilliant piece in the color ,sorbet. A regal chikankari lehenga. Can be easily worn by the favorite, bridesmaid or the sister. Dance away all the summer blues in what looks like an effortless lightweight sorbet red lehenga.
Celebrating sisterhood and highlighting his jewelry. Sabyasachi displays fun and affection with a girl’s best friend, diamonds. Chunky bangles, bare minimum necklace and a long choker, something to take away for everybody.
Romancing in red, a favorite of every Indian bride. Holding her head high in ruffles, reminds us of a royal princess. Just like me, this has to be every minimalist’s favorite.
Beauty in ivory, Sabyasachi has bought back the asymmetric one shoulder breezy top. A true savior in the summer. Dwelling well with the lehenga and the jewelry, this can be easily worn for an outdoor day function. What caught my eye was the arm adorned with the snake armlet.
Here are some of my favorites. All of Sabyasachi’s designs look like a piece of art. These are the kind of pieces that can be passed down from generation to generation. Undoubtedly, Sabyasachi creates heritage that’s timeless and extraordinary in every sense. I’m definitely honoring my wardrobe with such pieces someday. What about you?
