Ever since May 2016 when Swedish high street brand H&M announced their collaboration with luxe Japanese-French brand Kenzo, we have been waiting with bated breath. Kenzo has been known for its eclectic colour and print combinations as much as their iconic fragrance Flower. On the other hand, H&M is one of the world’s biggest fast fashion labels and their earlier collaborations with the likes of Lanvin, Isabel Marant, and Balmain had made a chic impact on closets worldwide.
With the collaborative capsule’s launch on November 3, the brand has been teasing us with first look photos, campaign sneak peek, and quirkly animated features for a couple of months. The brand has finally released the entire lookbook, showcasing a collection rich in colour clash, print mix, athletic influences, and a bold, avant-garde perspective on style. What’s better? The lookbook features an eclectic cast including the likes of model Selena Forrest, writer Amy Sall, photographer Youngjun Koo, DJ Juliana Huxtable, fashion editor Harriet Verney, and rapper Le1f.
With a little over two weeks for the collection to hit 250 stores worldwide as well as H&M’s online portal, we are gearing up to take our place in the queue. Till then, choose your favourites from these gorgeous photographs.
