What does 2021 have in store for us? We do not know, but what we do know is the colour of the year released by Pantone. If you’re not familiar with this already, let’s break it down for you. Based on fashion, architecture, art and other creative fields from the global trends The Pantone Colour Institute releases a colour or two, as colours of the year.
The colours chosen for this year are – Ultimate Gray & Illuminating. These colours don’t just reflect trends but it also encapsulates deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with a promise of something sunny and friendly. Gray symbolizes stone as in, solid foundation and resilience; Illuminating Yellow symbolizes sun, as in hoping for a cheerful tomorrow overcoming uncertainty, as Pantone states it.
