A/W ‘18 Runway Shoe Trends-Wearable in India

Shoe love is true love, right? We all love the runway, it’s so glam that we’re all yes for the beautiful ankle length boots, the autumn shoes and the fur women’s slippers. But coming to reality can we really sport these in the Indian weather? No, most of us cannot! So I’ve picked some wearable trends from the runway that you could walk in, like a boss in this waterproof shoes!

Mary Janes

This contemporary take of Mary Jane from the early 19th century in 2018 are definitely my top favorite from this season. What’s not to love about them? They can be taken from desk to disc. Many different takes of Mary Jane’s were spotted in Mary Katrantzou’s Autumn/Winter collection like this one.

Kitten Heels

The not so old-fashioned kitten heels have been given a classic twist this season with more bling and prints. This Tom Ford kitten heel in a jewel tone with fish net detailing steals the show! This trend is definitely wearable and is safe to play with; if you are looking to make a statement at a fashion event you could definitely give this a try!

Take a Bow

Bows are so yesterday, said no one ever! Exaggerated bows were seen all over the runway. Gone are the days where small and tiny bows made a sweet impression but we’re here to make a statement, right?  This one by Prabal Gurung is all kinds of fierce and trendy. On Days, when you’re going easy with your outfit, let bow shoes do the talking!

Chunky Sole Sneakers

The sneaker trend has been on for ages now, each time with different names, chunky sneakers, ugly dad sneakers but I would rather call them chunky sole sneakers because who would wear ugly shoes anyway? This casual kick from No.21 elevates any day look!

Cowboy Boots

If you have to do boots, then do it the cowboy way! The cowboy boot was one such new style spotted on the runway and men and women all around the globe are crushing over this trend. Above is an Isabel Marant spotted at the Paris Fashion Week.

Geometric Heels

Jacquemus is known for his geometric shaped heel and we could see a lot of these in the Autumn/Winter’18 runway from others designers like, Prabal Gurung, Dolce and Gabbana, Balmain and many others. These heels are here to stay and the good news is high street stores have already brought their versions of it, so what are you waiting for?
