From Runway to Everyday – A Woman’s Guide to Master Autumn/Winter 2018-19

As we curiously waited to see how designers would have interpreted the New Autumn/Winter 2018-19 collection in the midst of #TimesUp and #MeToo movements. With the unveiling of the New York, Milan, London, and Paris collection for this season, we understood what women fashion has always been about: making women feel good and confident. The seams, buttons, and hemlines, colors, prints, fabrics everything in the autumn/winter 2018 screamed women empowerment without losing the touch on feminity.
So, lets hit it right up at the new 2018-19 Autumn/ Winter trends.

Animal prints All Overs –

Talk about women empowerment and you know what comes to mind. Animal prints have been making women feel sexy and powerful about themselves, for decades. There is nothing more gorgeous and dominating than a woman in leopard to ocelot, zebra to the tiger, wild stripes, or spots.

Designers in Autumn/ Winter 2018 collection have bought the prints back but the only difference being, head-to-toe policy.

The Leather Dress –

Giving a twist to your LBD’s and making them more business-like. Autumn/Winter 2018 has got it all. From short and sassy at Miu Miu, to sharp and long at Hermes. Leather was everywhere with new and bold twists.

The Cape –

With the women empowerment in almost everywhere, from films to politics. We can’t blame the designers for choosing the right outfit for today’s women. The Super Moms and the Super Bosses, there is no better time for Capes than now. We will see a lot of Girl Bosses handling their empires in style.

Tweed –

An all-time favorite, this Scottish traditional wear has been gaining hearts of designers since the 18th century. For 2018 Autumn/ Winter designers like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Miu Miu, and Calvin Klein have tried to bring back the classic. The best part of tweed is you can pair it with anything.

Pleats –

Pleats are back, but with the empowerment of there own. They are no longer delicate, but bold and better. Wear them with trousers like Valentino, with chunky-soled creepers ( Sacai ), with Blazers but do not wear them with delicate blouses.

Logo Logo-

From Spring to Autumn, fashion blaring logo’s are here to stay for this year.
