Manikranika, the biopic on Rani Laxmi Bai ( The Queen of Jhansi) has been very inspiring in many aspects. This movie gives us chills as all eyes go on Kangana Ranaut’s style and stature. And if you have watched it already, the outfits must have caught your eye, just like mine. Kangana who plays the role of the Maratha queen and warrior, Rani Laxmi Bai is seen in her Maharasthrian outfits. The jewelry is inspired from the art and architecture of the old age Maratha. We could see varieties of Nath, Matha Patti, earrings and layered chains on screen. A mix of traditional Maharashtrian Thushi, to pearl necklaces and jadau sets were also spotted.
This look in red sari with the astonishing jewelry is definitely my favorite. The layered choker with the necklace can easily be bought to life.
Hands down to this look of Rani Laxmi Bai (Kangana) as a bride. The matha patti design is one that every bride should take inspiration from.

These are just a few of my favorites but as a spectator of the movie you could definitely find more inspiration. What I love about all her looks is, it was simple yet very inspirational for the bride to be’s. Apart from Kangana’s role and jewelry, beautiful jewelry can also be found worn by the sub actors. The transition of Rani Laxmi Bai as a bride with heavy ornaments to her revolting against the British on the battlefield with delicate jewelry is well-portrayed love for her motherland.
