Everyone loves a great prize. So do we love giving them away. As part of our first Style Me Contest, we receive many lovely lookbooks. Choosing the winners was no cakewalk, but we pored through the lookbooks and zeroed in on our favourites. Here’s presenting the three winners and their creations.
Grand Winner
The big winner of our Style Me Contest is (drumroll!) Anagha Bhaskar. The Bangalore-based student of architecture is an aspiring model and a complete clotheshorse. In creating her winning look, Anagha focused on the colour black for a glamorous evening. “A classic all black look for my next party offset with a splash of gold jewels. Black and gold make for a failsafe style statement for a dramatic night out,” she says.
Runner-up Winners
Bangalore-based fashion designer Pinky Roy clinched the runner-up prize for her fun-meets-fierce look. Her take on florals, “A fun and girly look to go well along with my personal style. Layering with a sleek leather jacket, which gives this whole look an edgy touch.”
Our second runner-up prize goes to Paulami Guha Biswas. The PhD scholar from Hyderabad loves no-fuss clothes and has a weak spot for bags. Creating a weekend-inspired lookbook, she chose to take a lacy route. She says, “This look is feminine and stylish, which I can wear at a Sunday brunch with my peers.”
Congratulations to all the winners! Your prizes are on their way. For the rest, fret not. We loved your lookbooks and we have more contests coming up. Keep creating your favourite looks with our Create Look tool.
