Luxury or affordable luxury, we all love to splurge our heart out, once in a while at least. There are days we can live on our high street stores and other days where we want to buy the best to our limits. Luxury does not always have to mean the highest value good in the market it can also mean our highest spending limit in our own world right?
I am a shopaholic myself but when I’m travelling around I make sure to research about the best brands and buys from every country or city. Where can I find these at the best prices? Are there special outlets? Yes, it’s that intense when the shopping research starts. After all who doesn’t love some good deals on your favourite brands? I do! So let’s see what you need to know.
KEEP ON MIND
- Where are you travelling? What’s the specialty of the place?
- If you have a favorite brand research it’s birthplace. Ex – French brands are obviously going to have better deals in their country.
- Once you know the brands. Look for their factory outlet stores. If you find this, there’s nothing like it.
SOME OF MY FAVOURITES
Bicester Village, Near London
Favourite of all, after all there’s Burberry, Ted Baker, COACH, MCM, Super Dry and so many more. Bicester Village is packed with tourists all time and it is one of the most famous luxury-shopping hubs in the United Kingdom.
Charles and Keith, Singapore
Who doesn’t love Charles and Keith shoes? Their bags are of great quality as well. If you want to strike a good shopping deal then do not forget shopping this from their birthplace in Singapore.
Kate Spade, New York
Another bag and accessory favourite is the darling brand Kate Spade. The name itself suggests where you could find their items at the best deals. If you haven’t guessed it yet, then New York it is. Not just good deals but you could also find a wider and better collection there.
Victoria’s Secret, U.S.A
This one’s no secret to anybody but VS is a favourite of many angels. Because of their popularity in fragrance and lingerie, and it’s also quite well known that VS is at their best price in the U.S.A.
GAP, BANANA REPUBLIC, U.S.A
This sister company is known for it’s clothing line, GAP for Denims and Banana Republic for it’s smart casuals and formals. They are definitely at a very great price in the US.
If your favourite brands aren’t on the list don’t be disheartened. You don’t have to travel to the birthplace of those brands because factory outlets can be found anywhere just like Bicester Village and a few others I have mentioned here. If you have any more to add to this list let me know down below in the comments.
